Blood donation camps

Udhavum Ullangal trustees and volunteers have a long association with the Madras Voluntary Blood Bureau and the Association of Voluntary Blood Donors, TN - up to 12 years in some cases. With their help, we organize blood donation camps.

• Snacks and drinks for donors

• Choose and prepare a suitable venue
• Arrange for donors
• Ensure the comfort and safety of the donors, by checking the sterility of equipment, taking appropriate safety measures, and providing adequate lighting, ventilation, etc.

Emergency blood donation

In the case of an emergency, we use our network of volunteers to identify a suitable donor and ensure that the blood is collected in time.

Our network has grown over the years and includes a group of differently-abled individuals who have been donating since 2001.

Organ and eye donation

We also support the cause of organ donation and Sankara Nethralaya has certified us as a brand ambassador for eye donation.
