Accident hit needs Rs. 3.2 Lakhs for life saving surgery

V. Sundaresh, a 26-year old resident of Old Perungalathur (Chennai), met with an accident on January 8, 2011, while on a two-wheeler. Sundaresh's accident left him with eight fractures. Admitted at the Parvathy Ortho Hospital (Chrompet, Chennai), Sundaresh's condition was stabilised with blood transfusion and surgery. He remained in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for 10 days.

Now, Sundaresh needs critical surgeries to recover. The surgeries are estimated to cost Rs. 4 lakhs (4,00,000/-) to have critical surgeries performed on Sundaresh. An unemployed B.Com graduate, Sundaresh comes from a family with limited means. His father is a carpenter. At this time of need, Sundaresh's friends have mobilised Rs. 80,000/-, leaving his family still in need of Rs. 3.2 lakhs (Rs. 3,20,000/-).
